Verse statistics of the Unicode/XML Leningrad Codex. [UXLC 2.5]

A histogram of the number of orthographic words per verse is provided for each Tanach book. When the verse count is clicked, all the verses of the book having the verse count are listed. Counting the number of words in a verse is complicated by the presence of qere/ketib variants. A option to choose between counting normal words (w) plus either qere (q) or ketib (k) words is included.

Verses which contain 10 orthographic words are sometimes used to count a minyan and are called "minyan verses". The histogram can be used to locate minyan verses in a particular book.

In some denominations individuals recite a personal verse containing their name or having first and last letters matching the first and last letters of their name. Verses whose first and last letters match a given name are called "name verses". A table to find name verses is provided.
